Swift Fuel Cell

Welcome to the first look at the Swift Direct Proton Fuel Cell.  The application for this technology is apparent; electric cars can be a reality if they have extended range and power.  The Swift Direct Proton Fuel Cell has been under development for more than 3 years in Purdue University’s Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana.

We have developed a technology that is efficient from all perspectives.  We chose not to base our technology on platinum, hydrogen, Nafion™ or any other rare or expensive materials. The Swift Direct Proton Fuel Cell is not a conventional fuel cell at $20,000 per unit; our technology is priced at 10% of this.

We’ve based this technology on simple and easy to produce materials.  This is an ethanol technology that can extend your standard electric vehicle’s range to over 100 miles per gallon.  The other liquid chemical, a solution, will be considered a closed system, not unlike your air conditioning system you use in your vehicle every day.  The ethanol will need to be refilled as needed whereas the other liquid recombination will happen every time your vehicle is plugged in to an external power source.
